• The steel used for the new EBC VR brake discs is a special stainless steel compound with a higher friction effect than that of conventional heat-treated stainless steel brake discs.
• They are made entirely of stainless steel, are heat-treated, and provide the rider with optimal hardness. In addition to weight savings, cooling of the brake disc is of essential importance.
• For optimal cleaning of the brake disc, the braking surface is drilled with a design that simultaneously allows for weight savings.
• The fewer the holes, the better the wet braking performance and the lower the wear on the brake disc.
• The rider benefits from improved brake feel and response, as well as the durability of the brake disc due to the improved quality. The material is therefore wear-resistant and not subject to cracking.
