Description

• The high-performance DOT 5.1 brake fluid is recommended for use in the hydraulic brake and clutch systems of all passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and motorcycles for which a non-petroleum-based fluid is specified.
• DOT 5.1 has a much higher boiling point than standard DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluids, making it well-suited for modern high-performance vehicles and/or vehicles equipped with ESP/ASR systems.
• can be mixed with other glycol-based fluids, such as DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1
• typical dry boiling point - 269°C (516°F)
• typical wet boiling point - 184°C (363°F)
• not suitable for use with mineral oil systems
