The condition of the air filter cartridge affects combustion and engine service life. The cartridge consists of two layers: the first layer is made of polyurethane foam with a porosity of 60 PPI (its main task is to prevent large dust particles from entering), while the second layer of the filter is made of sponge with a porosity of 45 PPI, which is designed to catch the remaining impurities. The Malossi filter ensures much better airflow, which has a positive effect on engine performance. When installing, soak the filter in a special oil designed for sponge filters. This is not a cheap disposable product - the filter can be easily washed, dried, and reinstalled. The improved airflow will have a positive effect on engine flexibility.
