EBC Vee-Rotors brake disc The steel used for the new EBC VR brake discs is a special stainless steel compound with a higher friction effect than that of conventional heat-treated stainless steel brake discs. They are made entirely of stainless steel, are heat-treated, and offer the rider optimal hardness. In addition to weight savings, cooling the brake disc is essential. To optimally clean the brake disc, the friction surface is drilled with a design that simultaneously allows for weight savings. The fewer holes there are, the better the wet braking performance and the lower the wear on the brake disc. The rider benefits from improved brake feel and response, as well as the durability of the brake disc due to the improved quality. The material is therefore wear-resistant and not susceptible to cracking.
